God times daily!           Broken

My time has been put to good, in many occasions in the course of
my life, as I am sure many others has. Even when I knew not the
truth, but one thing is for sure it became a different way and
matter, in my life when I was seeing things in the light and not
through blinded eyes.

In Psalms 51:17 David said it well,

The sacrifices of YHWH are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O
Yahweh, thou wilt not despise.

The Strong’s Concordance –the word for sacrifice  2077 זֶבַח     [zebach
/zeh•bakh/]   translates as “sacrifice” 155 times, “offerings” six times,
and “offer” once. 1 sacrifice. 1A sacrifices of righteousness. 1B
sacrifices of strife. 1C sacrifices to dead things. 1D the covenant
sacrifice. 1E the passover. 1F annual sacrifice. 1G thank offering.

Then contrite- 1794 דָּכָה [dakah /daw•kaw/] v. A primitive root
translates as “break” three times, “contrite” once, and “crouch” once. 1
to crush, be crushed, be contrite, be broken. 1A to be crushed, collapse.
1B (Niphal) to be crushed, be contrite, be broken. 1C (Piel). 1C1 to
crush down. 1C2 to crush to pieces.

The heart- 3820 לֵב, לֵב קָמָי [leb /labe/] 592 occurrences; AV translates
as “heart” 508 times, “mind” 12 times, “midst” 11 times,
“understanding” 10 times, “hearted” seven times, “wisdom” six times,
“comfortably” four times, “well” four times, “considered” twice,
“friendly” twice, “kindly” twice, “stouthearted + 47” twice, “care +
7760” twice, and translated miscellaneously 20 times. 1 inner man,
mind, will, heart, understanding. 1A inner part, midst. 1A1 midst (of
things). 1A2 heart (of man). 1A3 soul, heart (of man). 1A4 mind,
knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory. 1A5 inclination, resolution,
determination (of will). 1A6 conscience. 1A7 heart (of moral character).
1A8 as seat of appetites. 1A9 as seat of emotions and passions. 1A10 as
seat of courage.

Brokenness is having the ability to look to the only one who can help.
Turning to HIM with true need, and real humbleness, with my will
completely out of HIS way, and having come to the end of myself!                                                         

So when I look back it brings to my mind the cleansing and inner
change that took place when forgiveness was introduced into my life.
In a  broken state knowing there was nothing I could do of my own self
to even slightly impact the damaged state that I was in, and then
realizing Yahushua the Messiah was the only way to become whole. All
coming about by the acknowledging of my wrong doing brought about
by the law of YHWH, and a broken and contrite heart, Calling on
Yahushua the Messiah. Then Salvation was real the manifestation  of
life, peace, and abundant joy was deep in my soul sinking into the
crevasses of my brokenness filling my inner man with newness of sight,
filling my heart with Yahushua the Messiah ,crying Ab’ba Father and
the gift of love by his grace, whom is Yahushua the Messiah ever
present in me forevermore. So my brothers and sisters in the Messiah
let’s not forget when we all needed to know, we were wrong, before we
came to the truth of forgiveness. 1John1:9 If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
