Forgiveness is Real.
I was in fellowship the other day with a gentleman that brought
something to my attention, something I did not think a lot about as a
believer in Yahushua the Messiah. Not because of my lack of
information or knowledge but because it has become an automatic no
brainier for me and I am sure for many others . Kind of like repetition
of anything, eventually it does not have the same effect or response it
once had. We were talking about the Savior and witnessing, he
brought up the (law) and I was sharing with him about witnessing in
those times of fellowship and street witnessing. The point being! Many
of us seem to forget about the law of the old testament you know do
not kill, do not steel, do not commit adultery, Etc, those laws are what
showed us we were not right with the Almighty YHWH. When our
wrong doing was hidden in or minds not revealed, thereby giving power
to the forces of darkness keeping us in bondage and blinding us from
the love and truth of our Savior Yahushua the Messiah. For instance
( Romans 7:7-12) 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? By no
means. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known
lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 7:8 But sin, taking
occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of
concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. 7:9 For I was alive
without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived,
and I died. 7:10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I
found to be unto death. 7:11 For sin, taking occasion by the
commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 7:12 Wherefore the
law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Almost every person on earth thinks their OK with the Almighty
YHWH, that is until they realize the wrong in their life will keep them
from the Almighty Creator . Only by there acknowledging their wrong
doing and confessing Yahushua the Messiah as there Savior with
confession of the wrong doing in their life with true repentance is there
any cleansing , I say wrong doing because when we do wrong the sin
enters in. So when we become born again, confess or wrongs and turn
away from our old ways, our inner man becomes free of the sin
thereby destroying the power darkness had over our lives in that
situation. Causing us to become more and more like the man of
salvation Yahushua the Messiah. That is why the law is a school master
teaching us about sin in us, by our wrong doings.
Like ( Romans7:22-23) 7:22 For I delight in the law of YHWH after
the inward man: 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring
against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law
of sin which is in my members.
So when I look back it brings to my mind the cleansing and inner
change that took place when forgiveness was introduced into my life. In
a broken state knowing there was nothing I could do of my own self to
even slightly impact the damaged state that I was in, and then realizing
Yahushua the Messiah was the only way to become whole. All coming
about by the acknowledging of my wrong doing brought about by the.
Then Salvation was real the manifestation of life, peace, and abundant
joy was deep in my soul sinking into the crevasses of my brokenness
filling my inner man with newness of sight, filling my heart with
Yahushua the Messiah ,crying Ab’ba Father and the gift of love by his
grace, whom is Yahushua the Messiah, ever present in me
forevermore. So my brothers and sisters in the Messiah let’s not forget
when we all needed to know, we were wrong, before we came to the
truth of forgiveness. 1John 1:9 When we confess our sin, HE is faithful and just to
forgive, and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.
