Legalism
The trick is to follow the Holy Scriptures not the man words. If it is not
in the word of truth then do not do it. If you cannot find it in HIS word
of truth then seek wise counsel as HE said in the word. I would like to
show you about legalism, something that some people seem to think is
the way of those walking with Yahushua the Messiah.
Legalism
- adherence to letter of law: strict adherence to a literal interpretation
of a law, rule, or religious or moral code
- law term: a word or phrase in legal jargon.
From the Encarta dictionary :
For some reason I cannot seem to understand why many believers think,
because the Messiah gave himself as the living covenant, they no longer
think that the laws apply to them. I also wonder if that means, they no
longer need to be obedient or faithful. What about the truth, the word,
the way, that said disobedience, is as witchcraft! The Messiah followed
all the feast, the Messiah Yahushua did not tell the least of lies or even
stretch the truth. The Messiah did not say to HIS disciples they are going
to put me to death so I can do what ever I feel like doing! No, HE was
obedient even unto death. Yahushua reproved the religious leaders of
that day because they could not, and would not do the things (THEY)
burdened others with, nor taught of the weightier matters love,
compassion and, kindness. So then,
( Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the
contrary, we establish the law) RO3:31.      
I had listened to people talk about being under grace and mercy just like
the statement of not needing to do that any more because of the new
covenant. As if they were above the law and the truth of HIS Holy
word. Remember the same one who died for you also wrote that word
through the servants of  the old testament and the new, it was not to
disregard the law but overcome by HIS Spirit and establish it. Now I
know that some people still have a tuff time overcoming the works of
the flesh. But He is able to overcome all things as long as you do not
give up. Legalism is a cop out for many to say, I am under the law of
the new covenant, that does not apply to me! I do realize everybody
likes the warm fuzzy, feel good places that fills you up with all happy,
happy. But somewhere the truth has got to start to work in every ones
life for serious  cleansing of the inner man. Legalism is not the truth;
obedience is what the Father desires, obedience to HIS word so we may
bear righteous fruit, by HIS Holy Spirit working through us. For some
people calling out legalism is just another excuse to be disobedient.  
So in the old testament and the new testament Y H W H tells us about
the feasts that are to be kept always. Which very rarely do you here
today’s television ministers or even many pastors preach and keep.
Make no mistake, forever has no time limit on this earth at all, mention
the feasts and see the legalism that, that causes among those in
fellowship, that do not know of it or been taught of it. When you say
something about it, will they say I’m under the new covenant or that
does not apply to me I’m under the blood! Show them this article, it
truly is in love not hate, nor by my own agenda.

ISAIAH 66:  23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to
another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to
worship before me, saith Y H W H.  24 And they shall go forth, and
look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me:
for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and
they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. Chapter 14 of Zechariah also
talks of a required feast. I think all should truly rethink the statement of
legalism, so that none use that term to miss lead, cause another to
stumble in their well doing, or make void the law. We should worry
more of the offence than the letter of another’s understanding. Forgiving
is more important than a rebuking, walking in obedience and the love of
the Messiah is what is more desired by HIM than offence and division.
Which is obedience to HIS word and to love your neighbor as your self.  
The reason this article is here? Because legalism does not live here, and
this is not just about legalism, but truth.
John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free.
Truth has a name Yahushua the Messiah, ask for truth and you will
receive!
