Let me say this one thing in reference to the truth, of the Saviors name.
First let us all remember that the name Jesus is the English translation
for the Savior. Although his Hebrew name is Yahushua the Messiah,
even the Strong’s concordance verifies this truth.
In the Hebrew 3091 Yehowshuwa- Yehowshu’a- pronounced yeh-ho-
shoo’-ah translates as “Johshua” 218 times. 1 son of Nun of the tribe
of Ephraim and successor to Moses as the leader of the children of
Israel; led the conquest of Canaan. 2 a resident of Beth-shemesh on
whose land the Ark of the Covenant came to a stop after the Philistines
returned it. 3 son of Jehozadak and high priest after the restoration. 4
governor of Jerusalem under king Josiah who gave his name to a gate of
the city of Jerusalem. Additional Information: Joshua or Jehoshua =
“Jehovah is salvation”. YHWH is salvation or YHWH saved!
Then in the Greek 2424, Jesus/ Iesous Of Hebrew origin 3091; TDNT
3:284; TDNTA 360; GK 2652; 975 occurrences; AV translates as
“Jesus” 972 times, “Jesus (Joshua)” twice, and “Jesus (Justus)” once.
1 Joshua was the famous captain of the Israelites, Moses’ successor. 2
Jesus, son of Eliezer, one of the ancestors of Christ. 3 Jesus, the Son of
God, the Saviour of mankind, God incarnate. 4 Jesus Barabbas was the
captive robber whom the Jews begged Pilate to release instead of
Christ. 5 Jesus, surnamed Justus, a Jewish Christian, an associate with
Paul in the preaching of the gospel. Additional Information: Jesus =
“Jehovah is salvation”.
Let me add this fact, these Hebrew and Greek, Aramaic scriptures are
much older than the English language and alphabet. Also all the Jehovah
names in the Hebrew are all (Ye - not - Je). Saul whom was called Paul
wrote all his Epistles in Hebrew the,Aramaic. He is the one whom
wrote, in the name above all names not only in this world but also that
which is to come. When he wrote that the Hebrew name was Yahushua
and Jesus was not even in Paul’s vocabulary. So many years later when
King James had it translated they used the name Iesous from Yoshua,
much later made into Joshua. So I will say this once again the name
Jesus is the English translated name for the one called the only begotten
Son of YHWH, Yahushua the Messiah. Now I will say to you research
this for yourself, there is many on line sources and ways online
encyclopedia’s, dictionaries, and concordances. Libraries have many
resources and books to view and most have inter net availability. If you
really are seeking you shall find, seek the truth and YHWH will make
sure you find him when you are serious. Be blessed in your search!
